We Are Feel Review
(Are Feel Vitamins Any Good?)
I first learned about We Are Feel through Facebook. I can’t remember if it was advertising or someone had shared them with me, so I checked them out.
I liked the look of the products immediately because they ticked a lot of the boxes that I was looking for in a vitamin:
- No added nasties
- No excessive amounts of ingredients
- Eco-friendly packaging
No fillers, gums or binding agents was a big one for me. I firmly believe that it’s best to keep things as natural as possible and those ingredients are often man-made and have no place in our bodies.
Certified vegan, gluten free, non-gmo…high quality ingredients
The only alternative I have been able to try before was getting the vitamins in powder form. But that’s a bit of a pain and quite annoying to take. You have to measure out a bit of every vitamin or supplement you want, and make it into a drink.
The taste of some of them is also pretty bad! So it puts you off taking them. Having supplements in capsule form is most convenient, but there is one downside…the ingredients and capsule shell.
We Are Feel have resolved my issues with the ingredients, but the capsule shell is still there.
They have gone for a vegetable capsule shell made from hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose. More on this in the ***ingredients section.
Are We Are Feel Different to other supplements…?
The first question I ask is “Are they any good“. Here are the key points to note on that:
– They have no fillers, binding agents or gums
– Their packaging is eco-friendly and sustainable
– Manufactured in the UK to GMP standards
– All raw materials are tested by a UK lab
So yes, they are way better than 99% of other vitamins and supplements out there.
My only question?
I can’t find exactly where the ingredients are sourced from. Which probably means they are sourced from overseas. But don’t worry…
The reality is that if you want products where the raw materials come from the UK or EU, you will have to pay 5x the cost. In general, the raw materials are imported to keep costs down.
The companies then perform tests on the materials to ensure they are safe. So that’s key. Make sure they are lab tested. We Are Feel do this on each batch.
The rest of it then comes down to the amount of ingredients and if they are effective for mood boosting, energy improving, revitalising and making you feel like Batman! Which I’ll aim to answer below…
How I felt Taking the We Are Feel Multivitamin…
Not like Batman, unfortunately! But I did have some positive effects…What I noticed most is that when I stopped taking the We Are Feel multi vits for around 4-5 days, my energy levels were much reduced.
I believe it’s down to some of the ingredients. For example:
- Vitamin B12 – Helps your body breakdown foods into glucose which your body uses for energy. A major source of B12 is meat and diary, so any vegans may have low levels.
- CoQ10 – This is produced naturally in the body. You get it from meat, fish and nuts so if you’re vegan or vegetarian you might not be getting enough from your food.
- Iron – Helps your body product oxygen carrying protein (hemoglobin). Without sufficient amounts, you an be left feeling tired and weak. Also known as iron deficiency anemia.
Overall, I felt good after taking them and definitely noticed a boost in my mood. I have taken lots of vitamins and supplements before over the years.
My routine is usually to have a coffee not long after I wake up, but I tend to not have breakfast as I aim to do intermittent fasting at least 4-5 days a week. So in the mornings I feel all good.
The Best Time to Take Them?
I think this will be person specific, but for me the best time is around 2pm. In the morning I have a coffee and I feel quite awake. It’s the afternoon that I can sometimes feel a little more lethargic.
I’d never take them at night because of the energy boosting ingredients, which might make you feel more awake. I’d say anytime before 3pm is probably best for most people. Unless you work night shifts…
